Pow Wow Dance Workout

In this workshop, you will learn about different Pow Wow dances through doing the dance moves. From slow to fast, and simple to intricate, you will see how every step matches the beat. These steps can then be incorporated into other dances or even cardio workouts.  Shayama-Priya will bring in pieces of her own regalia that are typically worn in her style of Pow Wow dance. She will discuss the amount of time and detail put into the beadwork for each piece. Finally, she will touch on our responsibility in taking care of our spiritual, mental and physical well being through movement.
