Sculpture On A Budget: Using The Absurdist Work Of Erwin Wurm As A Starting Point For Understanding Sculpture

This presentation covers an introductory unit to sculpture with found objects and absurdist principles based on the artwork of Erwin Wurm. In this unit, students are challenged to think about the conventions of sculpture and are given an opportunity to create a variety of works using the materials readily available in any classroom.
