Heart-Mind Well-Being

Heart-mind well-being (HMWB) refers to creating a balance between educating the mind, and educating the heart.  This workshop will present the science behind the HMWB framework, and introduce participants to the five positive human qualities that promote heart-mind well-being: secure and calm; alert and engaged; gets along with others; compassionate and kind; and, solves problems peacefully.  The workshop will be evidence informed and is aligned with BC's new curriculum framework.
