Alexander will talk about his increased connections in the school and the challenges associated with navigating elementary school from the perspective of a student with autism. The growth and challenges he faced in secondary school, from a social and academic standpoint, as well as the difficulties he had to overcome without an aide for support are also covered in this captivating look at how we, as educators, can better connect and support our students on the spectrum.
