Using The Sand Tray To Transform Students' Emotional Pain

The use of the sand tray in schools can transform depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, suicide ideation and self-harm. Participants will be introduced to the use of my model, Neuroscience and Satir in the Sand Tray. The theory of transformational change will include the neuroscience of safety and attachment, right brain to right brain/ bodily attunement. This presentation will be made through photographs and videos of children’s work in addition to a live demonstration by a volunteer and myself.
