The Math And Science Of Fast Food

Is all fast food the same?  This is a short term, inquiry-based, set of lessons that gets students fired up about what they eat.  Students explore the world of fast food and learn some key concepts about nutrition, as well as improving their estimation skills.  They will learn great critical thinking skills, and compare food facts with their preconcieved ideas about what makes for "good eats".  A fun and engaging activity for kids in grades 6-8.
